Duties:  Prayer and study, teaching, helping provide direction and general oversight and administration of Cardiff Heights Baptist Church.

Spouse:  I’ve been married for 34 years to my beautiful, gifted, amazing wife – Carol.

Children:  We have two daughters and a son, all of who are married. We also have three grand children, two grand daughters and a grandson, who bring us much enjoyment.

Guiding Passage:  “Trust in the Lord, with all your heart and lean not on you own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5,6

Education: Attended Broken Hill High School and Ballina High School. Completed Engineering Degree at Newcastle University with support of BHP Steelworks. Theology Degree and Ministry training at Baptist Theological College (now Morling College)

How I got involved at Cardiff Heights Baptist: After serving at Casino Baptist Church for eleven years and Boambee Community Baptist Church for five years, we very much felt that the Lord was leading us to come and serve here at Cardiff Heights Baptist.

Some favourite things:  Spending time with my wife and family particularly on holidays, travelling both in our Caravan around Australia and overseas. I like being outdoors whether on a walk or just enjoying the beach or the bush. Reading is another love, particularly biographies, history and crime novels.

Hope and vision for Cardiff Heights Baptist: That we bring glory to God by being a growing community of people that passionately think, speak and act like Jesus.
